Su-do Spray Tan |

If you're looking for a Spray Tan in Palmerston North, you've come to the

and overcome all the traditional problems of burning, premature ageing of
the skin and serious skin change. A DHA based liquid is airbrushed over all or selected parts of the body and dries in under 10 minutes. | Preparation |
| Clients should exfoliate thoroughly either the day before or on the day of tanning. Moisturising on the day of the tan should be avoided. Shaving or waxing should be done the day before to give pores time to close. Deodorant and perfume must be avoided on the tanning day since they react with the tanning lotion and may turn greenish in colour. All make-up must be removed if the face is to be tanned. Su-do tanning lotion does not stain hair or lips. |
| Clothing |
| For full body tans, clients may choose to wear a disposable G-string, bikini or bra and pants. For partial tanning, clothing should be worn that gives access to those areas which need to be tanned. Su-do advises that colour may be difficult to remove from some materials. Su-do tanning solution will wash out of natural fabrics but not synthetics. During and after treatment, please wear either dark clothing that will not show the fine brown overspray or clothing that you do not mind being discoloured. |
| Leaving the Clinic |
| Clients are advised to wear dark, loose fitting clothing when leaving the clinic (A sarong or baggy tee shirt is ideal). Jeans or firm waistbands are not advised. Traces of the tanning solution can be transferred onto clothing and bedding until a shower has been taken 5 hours or more after the tanning application. |
| Developing the Tan |
| Su-do tanning solution takes 5 hours and more to develop its full colour strength. All bathing, showering, swimming and vigorous exercise must be avoided for at least 5 hours after receiving the airbrush tan. Small amounts of colour may be washed from the skin during bathing, but this not spoil the tan. |
| Maintaining the Tan |
| Use soap-free products to cleanse the skin. With regular light moisturizing your Su-do tan will last between 5-10 days depending on your skin type, skin care and bathing routine. Ensure that you pat the skin dry with your towel after bathing (This is when the tan is most fragile). Su-do recommends exfoliation on day 4 (this may be extended out to day 7 depending on skin type and skin care), |
| Sunscreen |
| Su-do Tropical Airbrush Tan offers almost no protection from the sun. High factor sunscreens and regular moisturising are always recommended for exposure to the sun. |
| Contra-Indications |
| Clients who have psoriasis, eczema, cuts and abrasions should not have a spray tan until the condition had cleared up. Su-Do tanning solution must not be used during the first trimester of pregnancy due to melanin changes in the skin. |
| Dark Tan Solution |
| The Su-do Tropical Blitz (Dark Tan) Solution should only be used by those who already have a good base tan of who tan easily. Caution should be observed when using the Tropical Blitz Solution at the higher DHA content may cause skin irritation. A patch test is highly recommended prior to full tan treatment. |
